Hello, and welcome to my portfolio.

My name is Aspen, and if there is one thing that has remained constant throughout my life, it is a love of learning, reading, and writing. Whether it was getting lost in a book, journaling my thoughts, or exploring a new subject simply because it interested me, I have always been curious about the world and the people in it.

That curiosity has taken me down many different paths. Professionally, I am a licensed real estate broker in New Mexico and Colorado, where I work with buyers, sellers, investors, and commercial clients throughout the Four Corners region. I am also actively involved in community leadership, professional advocacy, and volunteer efforts that allow me to give back to the communities I call home.

After spending years building a career and raising a family, I made the decision to return to school and continue an educational journey that I had put on pause. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Political Science at the University of New Mexico. My academic interests include neuroscience, dreaming, memory, behavior, and the ways our experiences and environments shape who we become.

Through ENGL 2210, I hope to strengthen my technical and professional writing skills, become a more effective communicator, and create a portfolio that reflects both my academic growth and my passion for lifelong learning. This website will serve as a collection of my work throughout the semester, and I look forward to sharing that journey with you.
